Not a word from Bush
19 Americans dead today--16 in one incident--you'd think Shrubby could say something, even if only to offer condolences to the families of the dead.

1. What was it that Barabra Bush said recently
Why burdon herself with such things .

Remember they are only cannon fodder
to the emperor .

20. * just turns my stomach
I am so disgusted right now I feel ill. I just read an AP article saying how * "refused to comment", and how he was having some "down time" between campaigning (raising money) on Saturday and Monday. 19 soldiers killed and he can't even be bothered to comment.

Probably couldn't sober the mother f*cker up. Didn't he blather on before about hugging the widows?

Oh, man, I feel ill.

3. hey, cut him a break...

Hangovers can be rough.

I'm sure that if the Chimp could have staggered out and slurred "9/11" a couple of times to the media whores, he would have.

28. What amazes and disgust me
the most is that this strategy IS working for him. When was the last you heard of any of these scandals and crimes with the exception of the soldiers deaths. "Bannergate" never even made it to the news that I saw. What a stark contrast to the Clinton years where EVERY lie and rumor was headline news. This is irrefutable proof of the corporate medias agenda and it ain't "liberal".

6. I've been busy all day
and just learned of this tragedy. Given the escalating violence there, I shouldn't have been surprised, but I'm still shocked. (BTW, I'm not exactly a new user. I got a new e-mail address and decided to register under a new name. I was "diplomats.")

He's been playing golf in Crawford.

when we lose so many of our soldiers in one incident. Of course, he's not really a president anyway so why should I be suprised.

11. I was wondering about Bush's "non" appearance today....not even
a statement, left it to the ever eloquent Rummy.

If he brushes this off, it will really be a very loud message... a very negative one to country. He is tone deaf....

"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths and how many, what day it's going to happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Oh, I mean, it's, not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?" - This is from the former first lady, Barbara Pierce Bush.

18. Give His Mouthpiece A Break
I'm sure the guy needs to spend some quality time with his wife churning out "new" Freepers.

Besides, how can anyone "spin" the daily BS from the White House when everyone has something to hide and no one wants to accept responsibility on a 24 Hour/7 Day A Week basis?

22. He's not going to be able to ignore this
much longer. He doesn't go to funerals. He doesn't even offer condolences. And, according to Rummy and Bremer, it's all o.k., because they're killing Iraqis, too. (Today's talking point.)

I think I heard the volume go up on the voice of the American people today. How many more will have to die before that voice turns into a roar and we run these greedy, murderous, lying bastards out of our White House?

When did he ever care? More cannon fodder; fools to him to advance his power. Too angry to write more. Impossible not to be emotional about this, and all else. America, where are you now? Don't you care about your sons and daughters?

27. Yes, a very "successful" day in Iraq by Bush's standards and logic
Death, it's what Bush is all about. Also, don't forget that his family and friends are making scad$ of money from this war he started based on lies and Cheney's cooked intelligence.
