I am watching the British Parliament right now and it is entertaining
It sounds so funny. Although most of it is hyperbole and beating things down to the ground, Bush wouldn't last a second if our Congress was a parliamentary legislature.

1. I was watching the Parliament several nights ago
and Blair was questioned closely about a proposed national ID card. He responded by saying that such a card would be good, not only for Great Britain, but for any government of any country. He went on to say that his people are currently brainstorming over the best way to implement such a project, implying that the decision has already been made and it will be a reality. And that leaves open the distinct possibility that if a national ID card "works" over there, then it will be forced upon us over here.

3. Tony can say what he wants
but the Brits are the least likely people to go for any ID cards.

And Tony can't impose one in the British system.

...Bush would have died from utter exhaustion. I think it's great that the Brits make their PM face their parliment.
