Poll by al Jazeera : Is US losing war in Iraq ?
70% say yes. 20% say no. 10% say not sure. 5219 respondents.

Are they as reliable as Gallup?

1. I don't give much weight to al Jazeera about Iraq
Even Iraqis hate al-Jazeera.

3. I think their polls
are for spin purposes, usually. That being said, they have presented more sides lately than U.S. media. I feel we are losing that check and balance the press represented at one time.

5. I'm sure you are correct...
Our leaders would never use Gallup for such nefarious purposes.. :)

4. It's an online poll so it has no scinetific basis
Henry Kissinger of all people provides the answer.

He once said, "In a guerilla war the insurgents win by not losing while the occupiers lose by not winning."

Using that analysis I would have to say the U.S. is losing.

9. Depends on how you see it
We can still win. Of course, for us to win it means that the US will have to learn some humility in a fairly short amount of time and get down on its knees and beg for the UN to bail us out of the mess we've gotten ourselves into on their terms. That being said, we won't win this while Bush and Co are in office.
