At current pace: 5650 US soldiers wounded by 11/2/04

At current pace: 5650 US soldiers wounded by 11/2/04
If the number of wounded soldiers continues at the same pace it has maintained since the start of the war on March 20th, there will be 5650 wounded US soldiers on the day that Mr. Bush faces the judgement of the American people. Maybe that will wake some people up.

Also, as of yesterday similar calculations indicate that the death toll would be 811, not including yesterday's helicopter downing. See here:

there's already been over 7,000 wounded in Iraq.

They're HIDING THE NUMBERS.

Surprise! (much like Vietnam)

Read the news reports, especially the mentions about Walter Reade Hospital. They've been overflowing with casualties, well over 7,000 soldiers have been in and out. What were they doing? Just visiting?

Also, in probably the most egregious "spin," the Pentagon no longer considers amputees as "seriously injured."
