Hey people, I thought this might be interesting
Edited on Mon Nov-03-03 03:52 AM by La_Serpiente
I came across this site and it is a blog of an Iraqui from Baghdad. She writes in it almost every day and details what is going on in the city.

http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com/

I thought you might find it interesting because you could have a different persepctive or the same perspective as to what is going on there.

However, there is a copycat site of this one

http://riversbendblog.blogspot.com/

That's the one. This is an alternate site that is false.

Fortuneatly, there is another website that tracks information on the copycat site.

here:

http://suzerainty.blogspot.com/

Apparently, this guy is trying to discredit everything the woman is saying. Fortunately, she got some fellow hackers on his ass.

Although some might say, "What if it is someone over the net but not from Iraq?"

Well, I had an online friend check the IP address and he said it probably came from a place in that region.

So trust it, trust it not, I don't care. I just thought I'd share it with you.

2. I've been reading
Riverbend / Baghdad Burning for a while now. It's a great blog in my opinion, one of my faves.

The Riverbend impersonator is a cowardly Republican who attempted to hide his identity and sow confusion rather than stand up and voice his opinions. Too bad he's not smart enough to hide all the loose ends that gave him away and allowed his true identity to be discovered.

:dunce:

3. "What if it is someone over the net but not from Iraq?"
Salam Pax vouches for her authenticity.
