3. Definitely, Americans prefer somebody dumb but "likable" even
though I have never liked Bush (to me, even before I knew of the BFEE he looked like an idiot).

7. What offsets arrogance is dignity.
Bush is stupid, that is his greatest liability--even the C-Span focus group recognized that. Portraying Bush as inept is most effective--his "bring it on" cockiness could be his undoing. Dean's anger, when articulated, is effective but arrogant when not tempered. Kerry can be pompous. Clark lacks substance and passion, but he is personable and he can strike effectively in sound bites. But his background is viewed with wariness.

4. Democrats are the mommy party and Republicans are the
daddy party?
Dovish democrats... I don't mind that.
Why are Americans so aggressive?
In good times people want the taxes cut and do not care about deficits. (I don't think Americans understand the concept of deficit... they have enough debt of their own).

5. Too Funny!
He asked how many people in the room thought Bush would have beaten Clinton in 2000 -- 4 people raised their hands! Out of at least 70-100 people in the room. I love it!

6. That was great. I hope that we get a strong candidate. These
Repugs make me sick. I also hope that arrogance gets them.
