Why Gephardt is a Warmongering Jerk
As reported on MSNBC 11/03/03, Dick Gephardt, the darling of some democrats said this about Bush and his war:

“We cannot solve this problem alone,” Gephardt said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” He urged Bush to sit down with foreign leaders, “treat them with respect and ... get the help that we should get from our friends.”

Did you see that? Not "we need to stop this and bring the troops home NOW"...not "This war was been a disaster from beginning to end and we need to put an end to it post haste"...no, Dicky says "we" need to get money and troops from other nations to help America carry on it's occupation and pillage!

Dick Gephardt, you are a disingenuous, lying scumbag who needs to get out of the presidential race this instant. You respresent the decrepit, cronyist, two-faced, statist disease that is ravaging the body of the Democratic Party.

EXTRICATE YOURSELF.

1. So, I take it you're a Kucinich supporter.

Or Sharpton? So far they are the only ones who advocate bringing the troops home now.

I understand how they feel, and my instincts agree. But, with my greater instinct I can't help but see the Taliban gaining a foothold in taking over Iraq, just as Bin Laden intended.

10. I dont know BUT
on Gephardt. He hasnt been the best I admit in the last few years but I do think he hasnt been a total republican ass kisser, if hes a republican lol as I see people say, well I guess the GOP is more pro labor then I thought, Thats Gephardt's speciality imo, I am irriated yes FYI at what he has done, but I dont think hes that bad. Odd of me yes being a Kucinich supporter but as a labor democrat I like what he has done for labor, and hes solid in other areas, hes not my first choice for president. Kucinich's strengths in a lot of areas are one of the many reasons I support him.

4. We can't just pack up and get out. But what we can do
is hand over Iraq to the United Nations and take up a support role. But to get out completely would be wrong. The United States is necessary for the stability of the worlds order. I wouldn't want to live in this world if the United States was not involved in it.

14. So, let me get this straight>
There are people in this country who still believe that conquering and occupying Iraq will improve "world stability?"

I'm astounded.

5. Welcome to Afghanistan 1989
It was good that we pulled out completely there. It left OBL and the Taliban in charge by 1996, and was instrumental in bringing down the Towers.

That was so worth it.

12. Careful....
We armed, trained and provisioned OBL. We didn't "leave" Afghanistan. We were only there in the form of CIA operatives and supporting OBL.

We are about to arm, train and provision a new Iraqi army. Are we naive enough to believe that the new army will do our bidding? I'm not.

There is no easy way out of this clusterfuck, but giving Bush* zillions to continue the current insanity is no solution.

There are more constructive methods of criticising Gephardt's position.

11. If Gephardt had a chance in hell of winning
it might be constructive to debate his opinions.
