In fact, many will see it as an effective way to reduce the number of undesirables.
As the ranks of the poor swell, there is no shortage of people to fill the service jobs.

If the administration really wanted democracy in Iraq, that's what they would do. But they don't, they just want Iraq's resources and its strategic location.

Active duty troops must obey lawful orders or face severe punishment. They don't have the luxury like police or firemen of resigning if the duty becomes unpleasant.
We should bring our troops home whether or not a draft is implemented.

I think those who can most credibly argue that position are those who would include obeying orders to harm their own children.
