Media Whores Online "out to pasture"...
And they don't even say WHEN in '04 they'll be back.

I know some of you have lost "respect" for the Horse because of recent positve notes and commentary about Clark. Some of you feel that they have become too supportive of one candidate at the expense of the others. Well... as an undecided ABBEL (EL=Except Lieberman), I don't share that opinion. It seems to me that the Horse's role was to expose and refute RW Media lies and bias regardless if it was aimed at Dean, Clark, Kerry, et al, and they did a DAMN good job of it.

I am hoping for a speedy return..

1. What bothers me is that they're out to pasture a lot
Sure, they have a pro-Clark bias, but it's their vacations that bother me. I doubt any pro-Repuke Nazi org takes vacations--you see what we're up against--a good site that slams Dumbo and his evil henchmen, and they're not there half the time!

2. I will not miss it
While I enjoyed the site, the horse takes more vacations than *. And I stopped going there 6 months ago.

3. There was no bias there ...
The deanpers freaked out becuase they were saying good things about Clark when he entered the race and later questioned dean's tax ideas.

I'd rather have MWO bring this stuff like this out about all Dem candidates. At least it will be done without right-wing vileness.

12. and what does that have to do with being a MEDIA
watchdog? What does questioning ANY candidates have to do with being a Media watchdog? NOTHING.

I gave up on MWO because they were gone so much.

Then I went back and they've become a Clark campaign site. Sure, I would have been happoer if they were a Dean cheerleader, but the point is they lost focus and forgot their own mission statement.

Now they are gone, probably campaigning in Iowa for Clark.

That's fine, just drop the bullshit of being a "fair and balanced" media watchdog... Along with the media whores, MWO dropped to their knees too.

besides, who needs them when we got DU and BartCop and Buzzflash.

6. MWO's tendency to take frequent "vacations"....
...caused me to delete their bookmark from my Favorites quite some time ago. I became weary of of constantly checking back to see what MWO was thinking on certain subjects only to find that they had either not yet returned from their last "vacation" or had just gone out on the next one. IMHO, while they are very good at what they do, they don't do enough of it on a steady basis.

I'd much rather read certain websites like DU, BushWatch, and others several times a day than wait for MWO to return from yet another "vacation" rested and fit to continue the war that everyone else has been fighting on a daily basis.

9. MWO is AWOL
MWO always seems to disappear just when we need them the most. Now that the RNC is running CBS, I don't know why they even bother any more. The point's too obvious.

-start" the Media's lies. So, if they take breaks now, at least they were there for many of us in the beginning after the selection, when we were starved for news, and were just catching on that our media were a bunch of "Whores."

I was so naive, I was still reading Howie Kurtz and thought he was an "honest, but misguided" reporter! HA!

I'm glad they were there for those who had little else to support us.

Enjoy your "pasture" MWO.

11. Pure speculation, but maybe...
Since we don't know who MWO is/are, perhaps their frequent vacations have something to do with their work? I know it's been suggested that maybe they are political consultants or have something to do with a politician. Maybe it's Carville? Begala? Blumenthal? And maybe they've just agreed to some consulting work for the General? Or Kerry?

Who knows. Like I said, I'll miss them.

13. Considering how much MWO gets plugged on Crsossfire
it must be someone close to Carville & Begala.

14. Why doesn't someone start their own site
Which deals with the media bias in this country. It is definitely needed.
