when the networks makes "The Clintons" should we threaten a boycott |
|
Oh you know that sooner or later there will be a bio-pic on the networks about "The Clintons" about a womanizing president and his power hungry, schrewish wife.
I wonder if the Networks will pull such a movie if we protest--or maybe protests by liberals don't count anymore.
By the way, ABC is planning a tv series titled, "The Kennedy's" for next season and it promises lots of sparks.

2. No, we won't and you want to know why? |
|
Because we have better things to do and bigger things to worry about. Just as people who are liberal and populist have better things to do than spend hours a day listening to talk radio hosts who do nothing but regurgitate our own opinions back at us. Just as we have better things to do than letter writing campaigns to newspapers or networks that publish or air things we don't like.

8. Actually I would be willing to bet some here don't have better things to d |
|
They would not spend so much time posting on this board if they had better things to do. Writing letters and calling talk shows do have an impact although slight they may be. I say go far it but the real reason is that they (networks) won't listen. We don't carry the financial clout that conservatives carry. We represent the down and out and poor in our country. GOP represent the wealthy and the networks know it.

9. It's been on many times |
|
and the right wing thinks it's the gospel. They also think every book and TV show done about the Clinton's is correct - you know - the Barbara Olsen books - even the ones coming out now - one after the other trying to blame Clinton for 9/11 - the hatred is still so intense

11. All the so-called news on FAUX should be |
|
checked first to see if it is historically correct. I've never seen such slander and gossip that is supposed to pass for news but apparently Americans love it. FAUX and radio are nothing but right wing hate fests.

12. No...if might be funny |
|
But it is too bad about the Reagan thing...it sounded like a hoot. Nancy Raygun as some high-camp Lady MacBeth.
Maybe someone else will buy the project off CBS...maybe John Waters should re-do it...hahahaha...with copious 'research' from kitty kelly

13. We don't need to defend Bill's record, it speaks for itself. |
|
Then again, so does Reagan/Bush's, if you don't whitewash it.
