Question about the "iraqi torture videos"

We know that all freepers and dittododos are fluent in Arabic (or whatever the Iraqis speak over there). (sarcasm alert, for those so impaired!)

Even with the English voiceover "translating" for us, drowning out the original language.

So we know that Saddam was watching the video of the guys being thrown off buildings, eaten by dogs, etc. (Did they show the ones where the hand grenade was exploded on the "victim"?)

Is there a possibility that, horrors, we were somewhat disinformed about the nature of SH watching these? These could be the works of the Iraqi equivalent of freepers, who advocate clubbing centrists and liberals with a blunt object. Being somewhat in line with SH's tendencies, he would not actually be ordering this, (except, maybe, in the case of militant rebels trying to overthrow the government) but enjoying the fact that this was being done.

I get the image of George W. Bush watching films of protests around his appearances and the police being videotaped quelling the expression of free speech. That would be the stuff which the police allowed to be taped, not what goes on once the cameras were turned off or away.

If we had the video of W watching that kind of stuff, and smiling, and broadcast that to somewhere where English is, at best, a third language (like some parts of Texas, and I'm not talking Hispanics), then that area could say "Watch how the American President takes pleasure in watching his stormtroopers abuse the masses!"

Remember, by the laws, that Chinese student facing down the tank in Tiennaman (sp) Square was a criminal. The US and the "freedom-loving" nations of the world turned him into a symbol. Ironically, if that happened here in the US in these times, the "freedom-loving" right wingers would be saying "MOW THEM ALL DOWN AND LET GOD SORT THEM OUT!"

4. Wouldn't be a first

This video could be another production from the infamous D.C. PR firm that gave us the "Nayeerah" bullshit before Gulf War I.

For those who might not remember it, a tearful Kuwaiti girl told tales of invading Iraqi soldiers throwing babies out of incubators, killing pets etc etc. It turns out that "Nayeera" was actually the daughter of a highly placed Kuwaiti diplomat who actually saw none of what she claimed. She was reading a script by the PR firm (whose name escapes me at the moment).

As ol' Joe Goebells said - the more elaborate and well produced the lie, the better.

1) What language is being spoken by the torturers?

2) What language is being spoken by the tortured?

3) What insignia is on the uniforms, if any?

4) Can the uniforms be identified from the footage we were shown?

5) What is the nationality of the torturers?

6) What is the nationality of the people being tortured?

7) When was the film shot?

8) Where was the film shot?
