Today, we have major gubernatorial elections in Mississippi and Kentucky, along with elections for constitutional officers. Also, we have mayoral, state legislative, city council, and assortment of other races all across the country.
DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!

The school board was the big election here in Colorado Springs. There was a slate of right-wingers that were being supported by big money out of Denver and were getting support from Governor Bill Owens. But it was only a little school board election.....

We need to set up a DU meetup right here in the state of Colorado. Maybe just drink Rolling Rock and just slap each other silly. Zenlefty should provide the insanity.

Not much of an election, though, just uncontested mayor and two uncontested city council seats. All incumbents running.

A hotly contested mayoral race in which both listed candidates are not great candidates. The incumbent is strongly pro-business and his opponent is a woman who has battled city hall through the last two mayors. She hollers but offers no solutions. Then there is a guy who has been running a write-in campaign. I voted for him and against the alderman in my ward, because I don't like him as a person. And YES on the library referendum, because we can't have too many libraries.
