making over a million copies of this story and pass it out to every person I see in America . Especially to those in the military . Going to war when a deal could have made - soldiers dying for nothing . When are we going to take a cue from our friends in Yugosalvia ( in 2000 ) and just storm Washington and get this country back into control .

2. Especially....
Especially when you read the whole story. This isn't about politics. This is about dishonesty and blatant disregard for human life.

3. It's been posted already...............
but in my opinion it can't be posted enough. Now, will the "legitimate" media pick up on this, or bury it as ususal to protect the unelected fraud in office?

7. I read it on the front page of the New York Times Web Page
Which isn't exactly burying.

This isn't a grand slam, it's just another piece of the puzzle. It paints a picture of an administration determined to go to war no matter what the consequences.

On the other hand, the story largely rests on Imad Hage--if they can bust him, than the story falls apart.

11. AWOL's Credibility Gap Widens
The chimp should be tried in an international criminal court for the 10's of thousands of murders he has committed!! AWOL has killed more human beings that Saddam ever did and in much less time. I can't imagine what he would do with 4 more years of having his finger on the button. WWWIII for sure!!!

12. Why? Why isn't peace an option for these people?
There are no profits in peace for these people. They're entire world revolves around using war for profit and control. The middle and lower class make money when there is peace and there are trade explorations and discoveries. The little people make some money when there is tourism and people exploring the world in peaceful ways,
from making things to sell to operating a touring company. This regime wants the profits and benefits of WAR. They want everyone to sit home and wave the flag and OBEY them.

Yes, mam, Barbara, we believe your son is our god and is leading us down the path of righteousness. No Sir, I don't object to sending my son to die for your agenda. Yes sir, Mr Murdoch, we'll believe everything you and GE and Time-Warner tell us and we won't listen to foreign media. And yea, Mr. Miller, we agree with you that the Democrats shouldn't fight for American values. Yea, we believe that all evil exists outside the U.S. and only the U.S.is pure.

13. It's a good thing Kerry voted yes on IWR
thus uniting with the majority to force Iraq to attempt such a thing.
Too bad Bush was president though.

14. You take little clues and
when you put them together it allows you to wonder and form a possibility.

Do you remember wondering why Hussein appeared to be inviting the U.S. by not making any compromises, declarations, or denials of the accusations, especially the WMDs?

This administration and military was hell bent on taking Iraq and only went through the formalities of Congress and the U.N. for the record though we know they seethed at the delays it meant.

There were reports that on the night the U.S. attempted to bomb the hell out of Hussein in some building that Hussein had let down his guard somewhat (don't remember the exact phrasing of the report).

You don't suppose, do you, that he made some offers and was led to believe that we were going to negotiate some kind of peace, that we gave a pretense of negotiations while proceeding full steam ahead without plans for the afterlife?

Nah!!!

"A little message - meet us at the X restaurant at 10:00pm... we'll have our president's answer to your peace proposal for you."
