Why hasn't Terrorism been defined by the US?
Why is Terrorism a one sided point of view? Why is democracy being treated like the worlds messiah? If its such a wonderful Idea, WHy hasn't the world embrassed it?

For me Terrorism is just another form of military stratigy. It's what has resulted from an explosion of Nations that now have a such a large control accompaned by an undefeatable military. It's a David and Golith story and god forbid if you give David a few rocks. I think terrorsim is just another evolutionary growth that we are not sure how to deal with.

In the past, and especialy today the US could be very easily labeled as a terrorist. It's all dependent on what side you look at it.

1. The US defines terrorism very subjectively
For example, the brutality taught by the US Army to foreign military personnel at the School of the Americas in Ft. Benning, GA is labelled as terrorism by many of the Latin American people who are subjected to routine abuses of basic human rights. However, the US government now calls it "cooperation".

3. When the debate between the canidates happens
I hope SOMEBODY asks pResident Bu$h the following question:

"Mr. Bu$h, could you please give the American people a concise definition of terrorism. No examples, just a definition."

4. If you define it, it can be used against you.
Bush doesn't want his own Dad to face trial for supplying the 'terrorists' who fought against the Soviets in Afghanistan and Chechnya, or the terrorists who blew up civilian installations in Nicaragua to bring down the Communists.

6. Follow the money, follow the power
Either of these things can be gained by BFEE or its cronies by having terrorism remain undefined.

7. it benefits the administration to keep the word nebulous
and provides an oportunity to villainize and demonize to support policy. a one-dimensional catch-all (black and white) term applied to individuals in a gray and complicated world.
