African Americans for Dean

The Prescription for change: Howard Dean

In times like these, we need a strong leader who has proven himself as a true servant of the people, is sincerely compassionate and concerned about the well-being of all Americans, has demonstrated a track record fiscal discipline and is not afraid to stand up for what he truly believes in. Such a person is Howard Dean, Democratic party candidate for President. As a medical doctor and the former Governor of Vermont, Howard Dean was elected a record five times to serve as Governor, and as a result of his strong leadership, Vermont is now one of the few states in the country with a strong budget surplus, low unemployment, healthcare for its residents, plus a host of other innovative programs that benefit residents of that state. This is the quality of leadership that we need in the White House, and with your help, we can make it happen in 2004.
