G.W. Bush on democracy
The Shrub gave a speech today advocating democracy for middle eastern countries. If we had a real democracy, the candidate with the most votes, Al Gore, would be our current president.

1. I always
that was ironic... ever since he brought it up to attack Afghanistan I thought to myself... .how can we spread democracy when the only reason he's in power is because ours failed?

2. As long as we have the Electoral College,
we won't have a true democracy. The bush "win?" in 2000 has happened before and there is nothing to prevent a recurrence.

4. Watch what type of government Bush puts in Iraq. It will give you an
indication of what he means by democracy. From what I see so far it is nothing more than corporate looting.

5. we are spending another $87 BILLION
to fund schools, electricity, security, transportation and democracy in Iraq.

Bush and his GOP Congress can't even deliver those things at home.
