Here is why I hope things will work out: about MONEY and our candidate
Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 09:05 PM by sgr2
Yes, I tend to favor a bit of centrism in campaigns. My personal favorite for the nomination is Wesley Clark. I have given his campaign $100.00, and I had also given John Edwards about $300.00 dollars (I went to a Dean fundraiser and gave $50). I'm very confident about 2004, but I'm also pragmatic about what could happen if we don't make sure we appeal to the swing voters. That's just my opinion. I'm an ABB man and I can't stand the thought of 4 more years of Bush.

BUT, I have also taken $600.00 out of my checking, and placed it into an interest bearing savings account. The day that the Democratic Candidate is decided I will be immediately contributing this money to his campaign. I will also be giving him whatever I can afford from month to month.

This is why I think everything will be ok. When the Dem candidate is selected, within a month I believe Democrats will start giving in massive numbers.

My 2 cents on our outlook.

1. When the nominee is chosen
I'm sure we'll remember our mutual goal:
Get Bush and all his enablers out of government period.

Nice post sgr2

2. I agree.....ABB all the way and I am saving my donations....
For whoever the candidate is. No matter WHO it is. I gave some money to Dean but at this point I don't have a favorite and have reservations about all of them but once it is decided I will donate money.

3. I do think that whoever wins this thing will be viewed as a WINNER
It takes a LOT to come out of a 9 candidate race. Whoever wins will be well seasoned for a battle with Bush.
