Air Force Reserve "infomercial" - seen it?

(Disclaimer: I am not anti-defense or non-respectful of the men and women who put thier lives on the line when duty calls. I am disrespectful of an awol moron who would send these weekenders to fight and die in a war of agression based on his lies. And with 100,000+ thousand being called up this week for duty in Iraq, it looks like they are trying like hell to find more.)

Right now, here in Chas. SC, there is an informercial for the AF Reserves coming on. A 30 minute spot, I'm guessing, along the lines of the "get rich buying and selling real estate" or "flatten your abs in two weeks with the total gym" spots. Really. I've never seen anything like this.

An announcer, with images of soaring jets and speeding watercraft, radar screens and classrooms, goes on about how you'll learn in this program, how you can earn money for college, get medical benifits, earn extra money, and change your life. He doesn't mention how, with the moron and his gang in office, you could just as well end your life.

Yes, there are stories from individuals just like you who share their stories of success and happiness, getting all kinds of great benifits, "all for as little as one weekend a month, and two weeks a year." (I'm sure there are reservists packing up for Iraq right now, thinking back on that line).

"Its time for you to go above and beyond....Air Force Reserve representatives are standing by for your call..."

Anybody seen this?
