How is America going to intimidate the Iraqi people. Saddam couldn't do it

Intimidation is the only thing Bush and his minions know. Thats what they use on us every day. Thats because it works. It didn't work for Saddam against the Iraqis though. Hell, he couldn't even disarm them, as much as he would have liked to. Just what in the hell makes us think we can? This is just plain nuts if you ask me.

2. The problem with a lot americans is that

they believe that everyone in the world aspires to be just like us. IMO ,this is what lead to the ridiculous belief that the Iraqis would be showering our troops with rose petals. I think that the buishies really believed that they wouldn't have to intimidate anyone, I think they really believed that the citizens of Iraq would be on their knees thanking us for our services and rejoicing in their new found freedom. They (the bushies) can't understand the hatred and contempt the troops are encountering. They somehow believed that bringing down saddam would negate the decades of oppressive US policies in the region. Obviously , they were wrong, dead wrong.
