FrontPage magazine excuses "Plame[sic] Affair".
The Plame Affair
By Ben Johnson
FrontPageMagazine.com | November 7, 2003

THE PARTISAN CONTROVERSY over the outing of Victoria Plame, the once-covert CIA analyst and wife of Ambassador Joseph Wilson IV, seems destined to go unresolved. Although the actions of two senior administration officials may be felonious, a city that lives on leaked information seems unlikely to produce the identity of either official involved in the leak. However, the real story in this affair is the media’s overblown coverage and the Left’s hypocritical outrage.

rest of story

Too bad he doesn't know enough about it to even frickin spell her name right

But he's right about one thing. Somehow this story has faded, just like yellowcake, aluminum tubes, bannergate, paycuts for combat, Ken Lay's friendship w/ Bush, Harkengate, Cheney's $1M salary from Halliburton, etc.

1. Partisan controversy?
And FrontPage has treated the Clinton years with non-partisan reporting and opinion.

I haven't looked, but I'm sure they are and will be screaming about the "obstruction" memo.

7. Because I did a Google News search on Palme Wilson
this and one other article were the only ones Google News found.

Amazing the White House betrayal of intelligence sources goes unchallenged by the public.

Amazing. I guess when you've got Chalabbi, you don't need to safeguard CIA agents?

6. Crucial WMD intelligence capability has been irrevocably damaged
and the media's coverage is overblown?

Novak's comments were virtually ignored for months.

"However, the real story in this affair is the media’s overblown coverage...."

This says something very revealing about this joker in light of the Administration's and media's 24/7 focus on WMDs.

If "the real story....is the media’s overblown coverage" then he obviously doesn't believe the threat of WMDs are very important, or at the very least, that they pale in comparison to the threat of Bush*'s defeat in 2004.
