1. The rep from Michigan Stabenow introduced an amendment

to deal with the problem with Bush's trying to restrict access to the WH. Now McCain wants to put "Constitutionally correct" or something like that into the amendment.

but now they want to prevent the Congress to ask where the money is going?

7. Dorgan now talking about the Judge appointments row.

Earlier in the day I saw another Democrat mentioning that the Repugs want to spend time--11 hours discussing the judicial nominees who have been rejected (I might not have the exact statement) instead of discussing legislation. He suggested that the Democrats can spend 22 hours discussing the APPROVED * judicial nominees.

8. McCain again. Talking about appropriations and I don't understand

exactly what he is saying. Basically, that since the Congress already approved the appropriations they don't have the right to question? I really might be totally confused????
