Bush's number like the Titantic. Does he have enough lifeboats on board??
Just checked http://www.zogby.com and this is the second straight week that Bush's approval rating is sinking. HMS Bush is hitting the iceburg - let's hope most of his regime goes down with the ship.

2. "Republicans are solidly with the President" -- For Now!
Next year a lot of Republicans are going to look at the Dem nominee and say to themselves "I think I can live with that man as President". Remember how many business leaders were against the war? Remember how many libertarian types resent increasing the size of the government and the deficit?

Yeah, but he's saving the unborn so he can throw them off later. What a creep.

GOOD ONE!!

Actually he is counting on trickle down boat evacuation. Give the lifboats to the rich robber barons first and they will create new lifeboats once they are off the ship.

5. Why does Zogby count 'fair' as negative?
To me, that sounds like a neutral term. I could easily say a politician's performance was 'fair', and then happily vote for them the next time.

Does using a Zogby poll give a inaccurate picture? Do the other pollsters do the same?

6. That is why Zogby is MORE accurate actually
Fair IS a negative category, especially if you have four categories: 1. Excellent 2. Good 3. Fair 4. Poor

Most will people realize the distinction.

You'll notice Zogby has less "I don't know" answers. That's because many people want other options for their answers.

7. Bush has had two spikes in his presidency
9/11 and Iraq. After each his numbers have headed south, each time at a steeper angle. Which makes me optimistic and fills me with dread at the same time. Where is the third spike going to come from?
