Blitzer on his Noon Show leaves out 2 Soldiers killed in Mosul!
I finally gave up on him reporting it. He did report the "alleged" shoot down of the Black Hawk with the 6 soldiers killed. But he didn't even get to that until fifteen minutes into his show, after the "Rosie" story.

Nice dialong with Loretta Sanchez (CA) and Saxby (?)Conn. discussing whether we need more troops in Iraq. I miss part of it but Sanchez was a good spokesperson for us, and said we aren't going to get investment from other countries into Iraq until it's safe, and you can't make people have democracy it's not a piece of paper you can just force on them.

The fact that he left of the two soldiers killed in Mosul shows he got "the word to shut up." Yesterday his show was great and very hard hitting, showing the memorial ceremony for the soldiers killed in the Chinook helicopter downing. He showed the rifles standing in the ground with helmets on top and boots at the base which signified the soldiers who were killed. It was really heartbreaking.

I guess today is "Lock Down Day."

1. Sister's "family meeting for Vietnam Vets and family"
My sister's husband is still suffering from the after affects of Viet Nam...They attend family meetings once a month. Meetings are usually full...15-18 people. I am saddened to think about the soldiers returning from Iraq with many of the same problems as these Viet Nam vets. Looking at the likes of Bush, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, and Pearle smirk before the cameras as our children are being wasted in a worthless and useless war makes me cry.
