Another Racist Issue Emerges from the "Whore Media." The SC School Raid!"
It's all over the Visual Media tonight. Every Cable Show, Every Network, ABC, NBC,CBS! The SC School whose Principal allowed a RAID for Drugs, based on "stuff he saw from "in school surveillance cameras where females were going to the bathroom too much." (My Spin from reading the reports) and where ONLY THE African-Amercan parents are objecting? Were the Caucasions and others too afraid to speak out on this Principal and the Asscroftian Principles of RAIDS on innocent children in a "learning facility" are what Sean Hannity followers should be cheering for?

It was a VERY mixed message what I saw in the media tonight.....but the media was "crawling all over it" like it was more important than Rosie or Martha to wait around for?

I think this is a BIG issue, and Kentuck our DU'er first posted on this and I will link his thread to this, because with all the Dean bashing over "Flag" issues and the Southern Culture Questions ....THIS story goes to the HEART of it ALL......for today's Parents whether they are Black, Brown, Mocha, or Shades Inbetween!

This story is about our INNOCENT KIDS being VICTIMS of ASSCROFTIAN INVASION! Treated like Prisoners who are incarcerated and subject to Violent, Threatening Searches by "crew cut" Police who draw guns and bring "sniffing" dogs in to invade their SPACE!

Police fail to find drugs in Stratford High raid
BY SEANNA ADCOX
Of The Post and Courier Staff

GOOSE CREEK--Reports of drug deals at Stratford High School led to an early-morning police raid this week in which about 15 officers cordoned off the main hallway to search for marijuana. Several drew their guns but did not use force, police said.A police dog sniffed residue on 12 book bags but found no drugs, said Lt. Dave Aarons of the Goose Creek Police Department."Several officers did unholster their weapons in a tactical law enforcement approach," he said. "There was no force whatsoever. Everyone was very compliant."

(SNIP)
McCrackin went to Aarons on Monday with suspicions about marijuana exchanges at the school, based on camera recordings and reports from students and teachers."Within the last three weeks, there's been an influx of drug activity. I've been in this business for 34 years, and I've never seen the amount of activity we've experienced recently," said McCrackin, who has been principal at the school since it opened in 1983.Several weeks ago, a student was arrested trying to pass out between 200 and 300 prescription pills, he said. After school ended Friday, one student threatened another and claimed to have a weapon.
"We're not going to tolerate it," McCrackin said. "We have to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff."Aarons said he watched school surveillance tapes from four days that showed students congregating under cameras, periodically walking into a bathroom with different students and coming out moments later.

"They're pretty knowledgeable in terms of where to stand. They know where the cameras are. If they stand directly under them, the cameras don't look directly down," Aarons said. "Faculty can view the students from other cameras, but from quite a distance away. They see silhouettes."Fourteen officers and a police dog sealed off the main hallway Wednesday as about 20 administrators and teachers helped steer other students away, Aarons said.
(SNIP)

About 2,760 students attend Stratford High, the largest school in Berkeley County and among the largest statewide. Two officers work in the school full-time. The high school in the county's growing southern end has an academic reputation as one of the Lowcountry's best. It received a score of excellent on state report cards released Wednesday.McCrackin, who has two children at the school, said the problem mostly stems from students who transferred into the school this year from out of state."No school is immune, whether it's one of the best or one of the worst. It's anywhere and everywhere," said Harriett Dangerfield, chairwoman of the Berkeley County School Board. "I'm proud we don't deny those things occur. I'm delighted we're being proactive and not reactive, because it is out there."

3. Totally dumbfounded with the clip tonight....what is this country
coming to? Guns drawn because kids might have a few joints on them? Tell me we aren't trying to condition our children to be obedient prisoners of the State. ABC had a 10 year old girl in juvenile court because she messed up some papers and took a lollipop. Why are schools abdicating their responsibility to manage these issues rather than courts? Something terribly wrong with the direction of this society.

Tommy Chong goes to prison for selling Bongs....but Rush Limbaugh will get off even though he bought 10's of thousands of Oxycontins illegally? Martha Stewart might go to jail for selling stock on insider information (at a loss), but Bush gets a pass on short selling his company stock when he gets inside information? And Ken Lay appears to be free and clear on the 100s of millions that his company scammed from California, stockholders, and employees?

There is a war going on in this country and this administration is doing everything it can divide and destroy this country.

6. I am still in shock that this happened
They said they caught one kid with 300 perscription pills, and they used that to justify raiding the school with a SWAT team and lining the kids up on the ground face down? I cannot believe this is happening. I have never heard of anything like this happening before, it sure as hell never happened when I went to public high school. I remember the cops arresting some kids who were selling drugs, but never doing full body searching of kids at gunpoint during the schoolday.

Seriously I can't believe it's gone this far.

7. Unbelievable!

What is happening to this country? I sure as hell hope nothing like this ever happens to one of my kids. I'd be up for assault at the very least.

8. abuse of power
This was an abuse of power, and that is how it was portrayed on "The Abrams Report" on MSNBC.

I'm not the biggest fan of Dan Abrams, but I liked how he covered this story.

9. I had a buddy in high school who figured out a way to end this crap...
Edited on Fri Nov-07-03 10:37 PM by TLM

When they started bringing the drug dogs though our school this fantastic bastard took a squrit bottle filled it with bong water, and squrited every locker in the school... every hallway... all over the place.

So the next time they brought that f-ing dog in, it went NUTS! It alerted on everything and there was nothing to find. So the dog was useless. They had to go back to the old standby of random searches.

It was great. He even squrited the door to the teacher's lounge.
