Jesse Ventura's show on MSNBC |
|
This is sort of interesting. I can't stand the guy but his show is doing some chimp-bashing.
In his opening monolog he said bring the soldiers home and was very critical of the US going in without UN support.
Pile it on!

When it comes to foreign policy he's not that bad. Reminds me of Bill Maher. I think I love him, but then he talks economics...

It could retire all the deficits for all the states that have them. All us to hire 2 million more cops or 2 million teachers.
A freeper is on challenging Jesse and Jesse is giving it right back to him.
"We're creating a huge deficit our grandchildren will pay for."
This is sweet. Wonder if he could out shout O'Really?

5. He Was Fairly Rough During the Fake Recall |
|
Said Ahhhnuld was a personal friend, but that he, VENTURA, resented the constant comparisons the media made since, before going for guv, he had been the mayor and other political involvement, whereas Ahhhnuld had zilch. He also said that the CA recall was wrong because its system is flawed, that in MN, the recall mechanism is NOT just a matter of numbers of signatures, that there have to be REASONS for the recall, such as malfeasance in office or some other (criminal?) activity being alleged, and that once the petition phase is over the recall issue goes before a panel of judges to validate or invalidate a JUST recall. So he didn't like what Ahhhnuld was doing or how it all came about. Yeah, there are always these little nuggets that are appealing, but then he turns into: VENTURA.

7. I think I agree with Jesse Ventura about as much as I do Pat Buchanan |
|
They're going along, making perfectly good points, and suddenly they'll come out with some idea or conclusion that reminds me why they're icky. I give Ventura some cred for being honest with his feelings about shrubco, but the damage he did in Minnesota, including his role in the 2002 senate election, is damn near unforgiveable.
