After hearing them attack each other, I don't think any of them would, to me it would appear to be a sympathy offer from the winner. Besides I don't recall it ever being done before.

1. I think any of them would
and it has happened at least twice. Reagan Bush in 1980 and Kennedy Johnson in 1960.

2. John Edwards.
He dosen't have a Seante seat to fall back on. He would be jobless otherwise. Also he can run for Presidnet in 2012.

3. They always attack each other
And then amazingly make up after. Bush and Reagan were both nominees.
So were LBJ and Kennedy.
My dream team is Dean for Pres and Clark for Veep...or vice-versa :toast:

5. Not only that...
...but Bush ripped on Reagan, and vice versa, through that primary process...but then again, some claim Poppy blackmailed Reagan into putting him in the VP slot...

11. For a guy who was one of the most ignored VP's in the last 50 years,
people sure think Bush Sr. had a lot of influence.

10. That's a new one to me
Who has claimed Bush blackmailed Reagan to be his VP?

You'd think if he was going to blackmail him, he would blackmail him to get out of the campaign so Bush could be president. Seems kind of lame to blackmail someone to be his VP.

7. Kerry
He would be great VP for Clark. I listened to Clarks speech on C-Span last night and he actually made me cry. This man is brilliant. Maybe Clark will be the blessing we need so badly. People are tired and burned out on the Washington faces, they want new, fresh ideas and faces. Clark has it all, he's a great speaker, very Clinton like, and he gives off a strong sense of security. Not only would Clark clean up the mess in Iraq, he would make it his mission to go there and get it done. I love this man.

8. You could be right, however
I would hope that whoever wins realizes how good our candidates are right now. Maybe they can at least incorporate one or two others in their administration somehow. There are a lot of good ideas in that group.

But it is getting very competative, and very personal.
