I know this has a snowball's chance in hell, but just to confirm--I am the only one who loves the idea of this ticket? Right?
Clark/Kucinich--the doer and the dreamer (and vice-versa). This combo would make the nation and the planet a much better place.

Dennis' hot to Wesley's cool would be a nice complement. After 2000, I'd like to see a veep pick who's more than just a genial boat anchor.

ripping into ol' Dick.
My dream for driving the wingers nuts: Clark President, DK VP, Hillary as press secretary, Howard Dean as head of the DNC.

Al Sharpton as press secretary. Now those would be interesting press conferences!

Sharpton would beat the hell out of the press corps, and trash the GOP left and right. I just said Hillary because that'd put her face on TV all the time

For the first time ever, White House press briefings would become don't-miss television. People would rush home to watch Brit Hume take a beating. O'Reilly would have puppies when the Al Sharpton Show consistently draws 10 times his audience share.

You can drastically reduce your exposure to Kucinich and be halfway to Nirvana right now if you avoid threads with his name in them. No click, no see.

23. You lead a sheltered life, don't you? |
|
Dennis Kucinich was drafted by the people who were inspired by his speech , A Prayer For America. He didn't just decide to run, after spending almost a year away from his elected office (like a certain governor).
I'm certain you won't hear much about him on Fox News or MSGOP, but that doesn't matter to a lot of America. We see Fox News and MSGOP for what they are.

5. From a purely electoral point of view |
|
Kucinich on the ticket might keep Greens from bolting in November, and he's from Ohio, a state we lost in 2000 by a razor-thin margin. Then again, it might cause more harm than good; Kucinich might turn off Southern voters who would otherwise vote for Clark.
It's an interesting idea, but as you said, it probably doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

13. and with Kucinich as Veep |
|
Clark could fly comfortably in the small craft of his choosing. Because President Kucinich is a freeper's worst possible nightmare scenario.
I can see the papers now "Prez Kucinich declares Emergency-- Nullifies NAFTA, Nationalizes American Oil and Gas Holdings, gives new mandate to EPA, DOE. DeLay weeps in mourning for former President Clark, longs for 'good old days'."

I swear, you could almost hear the whole country praying that Bush 41 wouldn't die, so that we wouldn't have Dan Quayle as President.
Of course, nobody wanted Quayle because he's dumber than a bag of hammers. The right wing wouldn't want Kucinich because he'd work to destroy everything dear to them.

who did a bit about the earthquake that would be caused by millions of Americans dropping to their knees in prayer at the same time should Quayle ever become president. I was quite funny.

I don't know if it will happen, or if it's wise, but I would favor a Clark/Kucinich ticket.

I'm still cautious about Clark. He says good things. I haven't decided whether I trust his words or not. Time will tell.
Switch it, and I'm with you. Kucinich/Clark. Idealism and action on top, with the general aboard for those concerned about defense.
