Bush-Nazi Dealings Continued Until 1951- Federal Documents
Damn, this New Hampshire Gazette is on the stick!!!
Glad I bookmarked http://www.nhgazette.com

=====================================

“Bush - Nazi Dealings Continued Until 1951” - Federal
Documents By John Buchanan and Stacey Michael from The
New Hampshire Gazette Vol. 248, No. 3, November 7,
2003

After the seizures in late 1942 of five U.S.
enterprises he managed on behalf of Nazi industrialist
Fritz Thyssen, Prescott Bush, the grandfather of
President George W. Bush, failed to divest himself of
more than a dozen "enemy national" relationships that
continued until as late as 1951, newly-discovered U.S.
government documents reveal.

Furthermore, the records show that Bush and his
colleagues routinely attempted to conceal their
activities from government investigators.

Bush's partners in the secret web of
Thyssen-controlled ventures included former New York
Governor W. Averell Harriman and his younger brother,
E. Roland Harriman. Their quarter-century of Nazi
financial transactions, from 1924-1951, were conducted
by the New York private banking firm, Brown Brothers
Harriman.

Get the rest of it here...the article that is!

3. what I find kinda funny is that Harriman money
later aided Clinton through Pamela Harriman who had also been married to Winston Churchill's son.

She was a big wig whose donations and help resulted in her being the American Ambassador to France.

8. Sadly - the Arkansan "Stephens Group" financed Bush THEN Clinton
and Now Clark.

They arranged Saudi financing for Bush's Harken energy deal in the 1980's , gave $100,000 to Reagan Bush and they just gave $100,000 to Shrub in 2001 just before they hired Clark. In between they helped Clinton too.

Sad state of affairs this government.

12. oh rock on!!!
ya know, it says on the NH Gazette site that a bunch of papers and news organizations picked up on their first story. My thought is, how many are going to keep this snow ball rolling? And for how long?

Look at how fast stories die. Anyone still reporting on Rush Lardbutt and his illegal drugging? NO! Hmm, what about that Yale bombing months and months ago? Did we ever hear squat on who was responsible for that ON THE SAME DAY BUSH WAS JUST A HOUR DRIVE AWAY? You guess it: NOPE! And the list is endless.

My advice to anyone who wants the media to cut the crap over this: CANCELL YOUR NEWSPAPER SUBSCRIPTION!!! AND WATCH SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE CRAP NEWS ON AMERICAN TV NETWORKS!

Lu Cifer, so glad my "president" is not getting any blowjobs but instead is a GODDAMN GRANDSON OF NAZI COHORT!!!

16. an excellent idea
I hit the Randi Rhodes message board, the Randi yahoogroup, my yahoogroup (its link is in my sigfile!), the GWBush.com forum's general section, and I emailed it on to others. This Bush/Nazi link is VERY DAMNING to these assholes. These people are out and out CRIMINALS who need to be locked up and never be allowed to see daylight ever again. It's up to us to do all we can to put an end, once and for all, to the Bush Dynasty. Or should it read "Die-nasty"?

Lu Cifer, let's not forget the Bush/Bin Laden connections too while we're at it...

21. Yessirree!!!
When Watergate happened I thought it would be neat to have a Watergate zoo where the criminals who stole or tried to steal America would be kept in open cages where we could go and throw peanuts at them from walkways above or around them.

I know it would be cruel and unusual and unconstitutional...

But so were they

after he was sued under the "trade with the enemy" law and after his nation-wide image-campagne to save his reputation?
Curious in Germany,

18. it appears to be that was the case
much like how Prescott's grandson seems to still help certain people *COUGH* BIN LADENS *COUGH* like that little air lift out of the USA days after 9/11 while ALL air trafic was GROUNDED. No FBI, you MAY NOT ask questions! And oh yeah, that Tora Bora airlift too. I could go on and on. And we haven't even mentioned George Sr.!!!!!!

Nice to see that helping the enemy, even after they've kicked us in the nuts, runs in the family...

Lu Cifer, don't you feel safe know this? Sleep tight.

20. Why does this thread keep sinking. Does NOBODY care?
I have appealed to the mods to put this back on LBN whjere it belongs but so far to no avail.

I guess none of this is a surprise top most folks but I meet folks almost ever day in real life who have never heard about it.

It should be on every front page in America.

Why is it not here at DU?

Oh well.

22. I care and I agree
People find it difficult to believe that * (looks like an a-hole to me) Bush could have known about 9.11. I find it hard to believe that he could not have known. Moreover, I'm assuming they are able to keep that complicity a secret the same way they've been able to keep their family Nazi ties a secret--connections, money and, when that fails, intimidation through blackmail. Yes, I too run into people every day who are simply unaware of the Bush family Nazi connection. We need all the ammunition we can get to counter the incessant, mind numbing, completely fallacious picture of * as a legitimate president. He isn't. He is a sock pupet for a fascist neo-con agenda. All the information is here, right here on DU. All we have to do is get it organized and in front of a lot of people. We are all doing that day by day.

24. WHY THIS STORY IS IMPORTANT TODAY:
So why are the documents relevant today?

"The story of Prescott Bush and Brown Brothers Harriman is an introduction to the real history of our country," says L.A. art book publisher and historian Edward Boswell. "It exposes the money-making motives behind our foreign policies, dating back a full century. The ability of Prescott Bush and the Harrimans to bury their checkered pasts also reveals a collusion between Wall Street and the media that exists to this day."

Sheldon Drobny, a Chicago entrepreneur and philanthropist who will soon launch a liberal talk radio network, says the importance of the new documents is that they prove a long pattern of Bush family war profiteering that continues today via George H.W. Bush's intimate relationship with the Saudi royal family and the bin Ladens, conducted via the super-secret Carlyle Group, whose senior advisers include former U.S. Secretary of State James A. Baker III.

In the post-9/11 world, Drobny finds the Bush-Saudi connection deeply troubling. "Trading with the enemy is trading with the enemy," he says. "That's the relevance of the documents and what they show."

Lawrence Lader, an abortion rights activist and the author of more than 40 books, says "the relevance lies with the fact that the sitting President of the United States would lead the nation to war based on lies and against the wishes of the rest of the world." Lader and others draw comparisons between President Bush's invasion of Iraq and Hitler's occupation of Poland in 1939 - the event that sparked World War Two.

However, others see an even larger significance.

<snip>

Fertik and others, including former Justice Department Nazi war crimes prosecutor John Loftus, a Constitutional attorney in Miami, and a former Veterans Administration official, believe Prescott Bush and the Harrimans should have been tried for treason.

<snip>

Now, say Fertik and Loftus, there should be a Congressional investigation into the Bush family's Nazi past and its concealment from the American people for 60 years.

25. absolutely
It just amazes me how you show this to a wingnut, and they go "OH WELL YOU JUST ARE MAKING THIS UP." Yeah. Sure. Like I pulled this out of a hat or something. Riiiiiiiiiiight. This story is from THE NEW HAMPSHIRE GAZETTE! NEW HAMPSHIRE! Like New Hampshire is the great bastion of LIBERALISM????? How many other countless articles are there that are highly critical of Bush and company on any number of given topics...that are from very well known right wing biased sources the Washington "Sun Yung Moon" Times, Faux Nukes, NewsAxe, and so forth. So they are part of the LIBERAL MEDIA too right!!!
