it made me sad. i wonder if my dad wrote a similar letter when he was in Vietnam.
of late it seems the respectful silent (on PBS, or on CNN with soft music) running of confirmed deaths is viewed by some as pro-left

dramatic songs and messages when this all started? Can't think of the name now . but it was voiced over with well wishes from soldier's families .. wishing them a speedy safe return? Was that just my local market?
