Did President Clinton ever ask another country to basically shut down |
|
to protect him from ordinary people. Bush* wants to shut down London because he is afraid of the people. Why is he afraid of the people? Was President Clinton ever afraid of the people? Does Bush* really know or care that he is universally hated?

2. What is this crap anyway? |
|
I mean....remember the alleged bit the right put out about President Clinton holding up air traffic at LAX so that he could get a haircut aboard Air Force One? That turned out to be a complete crock of shit.
And yet, Bushie is disrupting the central part of a major city. And that's ok?

3. Never had to...Clinton was and is still loved the world over... |
|
Because everyone knows a great man when they see him. Clinton connects to people the way our sociopathic, alcoholic, smarmy, spoiled boy king can't.
Clinton didn't destabilize the entire world.

I know my relatives in mainland China all admire President & Senator Clinton... while they think Bush is an idiot.
I'd love to see if a Democrat won the White House to have the Big Dog in for Sec of State...

7. That would be terrific ~ A real State Dept. |
|
I think being Secretary General of UN would also be appropriate for him. The world as a whole loves and respects him greatly and the exact opposite is true for Bush*

5. Clinton didn't need to shut London down... |
|
Because the populace did it themselves to join the crowds cheering for him. Can we have Clinton back? Please? Two years, tops, just so we can fix things.

8. Hell No. Clinton did not need a double secret itinerary nor did he need |
|
to close down the cities that he visited. The corp media will report that the situation has changed since 9 11 but that is not the issue. The PEOPLE who protest loathe him. The only thing their actions have to do with 9 11 is the actions HE has taken since that date.

Bring back Clinton, so he can fix all the things Chimpy McDumbAss blames on him. Might as well fix what he is being blamed for. The Village Idiot loves to blame Clinton for what are clearly his and his alone! screw ups.

Forum. What does the world's hating Bush* have to do with 9-11? The world as a whole loved President Clinton but despises Bush*. Spin that will you. Economy getting better. It was terrific when Bush* was selected. It was sooo good Bush* felt he had to give back the people's money. Now he says it wasn't really good, but he is going to make it good. You believe a compulsive LIAR then you deserve what you get.

15. Yes, the terrorists were here before 9/11, but |
|
isn't it a shame that when Clinton warned Bush that they might be here that Bush totally ignored the threat?

16. Yeah, during Clinton's presidency |
|
when the Republican hounds were sending the FBI on wild goose chases all over the country, investigating whatever horseshit conspiracy theory that Scaife paid someone to assert was true, instead of tracking those al-Qaeda people coming into the country and taking flight lessons.
You think we're secure? Think again. We have, in the two years Bush has been sworn in, made more enemies around the world than we have during all of Clinton's presidency.

Absolutely on the mark, and I'm horrified that more people don't realize it or say it. Chasing around Iraq IS NOT going to stop the next Timothy McVeigh or Mohamed Atta, and it gives no guarantee that terrorists will not recruit more and more angry people.
We need sober leaders who do not delude themselves and waste our limited resources on military folly while leaving diplomacy, support of first responders, and the like undone. I only hope that more people wake up to just how bad a job the administration is doing before it's too late.

9. Not only did Clinton never ask... |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-11-03 12:21 PM by Wednesdays
to the best of my knowledge, NO US president ever did so...not even Nixon, Ray-gun, or Poppy! They probably asked for security, but not to the extent of shutting down a city.

10. Last time Clinton was here |
|
he was ambling through Oxford with Chelsea with a pretty much invisible security detail. Now we've got Bush requesting 'shoot-to-kill' rules of engagement & a virtual shutdown of central London.
