Does Bureau of Labor Statisitcs keep their numbers secret ? |
|
I heard this the other day - I don't recall exactly who said it?? Maybe it was AL Gore or Paul Krugman? Anyone else heard about this? The point being that the statistics coming from this Administration are very selective. Think of the manipulation that could take place if this is true? They present the good numbers and the negative news is buried.

Elaine Chao (Secretary of Labor) is Mitch McConnell's wife (#2 Majority Leader.) They both have a vested interest in fudging the figures to support Dimbo's bid for re-election.

3. They're Not Secret, But. . . |
|
. . .they get put into the SAUS database, actually fairly quickly. But, SAUS is an expensive subscriber service and not available to the general public.
So, they're not secret, but they don't go out of their way to make the data readily available.
Sort of a mixed bag, i guess. The Professor
