Does your newpaper enable Bushie? |
|
An excerpt from my daily paper, sorry no link so I'm just typing enough to make my point:
Editorials Refreshing Look at Mideast While many of the Bush administration's decisions during the so-called post-Iraq war period are questionable, the president last week bravely took on the autocratic policies of Mideastern countries. Repudiating decasdes of U.S. policy, pResident (sorry I just can't type it) Bush said the U.S. and its allies have been wrong in "excusing and accomodating" a lack of freedom in the Mideast. The president praised blah blah blah blah.
No correct me if I'm wrong here but the simpleton Bushie has been pResident long enough for 'him' to take responsibility for what he does and not blame others! When will these enablers hold this man accountable and stop giving him a pass!!

Bush has really pushed those Saudis hard hasn't he. Here it is 2 years after September 11th and we still get a statement once every 2 months from the Saudis saying "OK, now we're serious about this war on terrorism, that last bombing convinced us".

your newspaper, but this editorial is about an important Bush statement on his foriegn policy. If dems want to know what we are going to be up against in the foriegn policy debate next year, we better be familiar with this: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/11/20031106-2.html

5. The glossing over of Bushies culpability |
|
Do the people out there have the ability to discern the lie being told in that editorial? Or do they just take at face value overlooking his transgressions in this area, even more so in fact than past presidents considering 9/11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. Mine is schizophrenic about AWOL |
|
During the war, it elevated his status to God.
Lately, it has been sniping at him, sometimes hitting pretty hard.
Today however, it was back to BushWorship, with two RW editorial cartoons.
However, I must say the letters to editor are getting a LOT better. Lots of critical letters lately.

6. 2 papers in Madison, Wisconsin |
|
the one with the largest circulation--Wisconsin State Journal is Republican leaning and usually enables Bush. The Capital Times is progressive and is a tough Bush critic.
I'm glad we are a two newspaper town.
