It's been revealed that Bush sent a letter to the Metropolitan Community Church, a predominantly gay church founded 35 years ago by the Reverend Troy Perry, a letter congratulating the MCC on its 35th anniversary...the same week that Bush issued a proclamation of "Marriage Protection Week", which re-affirmed that marriage was "solely between a man and a woman"

BTW. Apparently the White House has signaled sponsors of the "Federal Marriage Amendment", which would enshrine forever bigotry in the United States Constitution, that Bush would come out in favor of the amendment...if the Massachusetts Supreme Court rules in favor of gay marriage.
