CSpan Thread 1 - Sen. Leahy WAS supposed to be on
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 07:20 AM by La_Serpiente
I don't know what happened.

And now they have a Charles Hurt, a reporter from the Washington Times telling about the nominations. So far, he is fairly unbiased. (I retract that former statement: He's biased)

Here is the schedule for today:

ON WASHINGTON JOURNAL
Wednesday, November 12
7am - Newspaper Articles & Open Phones
8am - Dan Rostenkowski, Fmr. U.S. Representative (D-IL), 1959-1995
9am - Stephen Friedman, National Economic Council, Director

Orrin Hatch was on yesterday.

Leahy was supposed to be on today, but he will be on tommorrow.

So voice your questions at the host and make as much statements as possible.

Here are the phone numbers:

CALL-IN NUMBERS
Republican: (202) 585-3880
Democrat: (202) 585-3881
Others: (202) 585-3882
Fax: (202) 393-3346
Email: journal@c-span.org

And if you do call, don't forget to mention the blue slips.

They will be taking phones for one hour.

Here is another one:

So call in and make you points if you want.

8. RESEARCH THIS
A caller just said when he read "the federalist papers" it was written that if the Supreme Court appointed a president, that the president isn't allowed to appoint Federal Judges. Does anyone know anything about this?
