Anybody want to help get rid of Delay?
I just received information about the Democratic candidate running against Tom Delay. This guy is going to need all the help he can get. I'm sending $25, as my husband is unemployed and I can't do more. This is not just a "Texas" issue, but a national one. Although Texan, I'm not in his district.

To see what an uphill battle this will be, check the following link for the list of contributors in the last election.

Please help him if you can.

2. ME! ME!
Thanks silverlib. Wish I was in his district (sort of), but I'll help the guy any way I can. Even tho he'll likely lose, I'd like to get some cockroach droppings out in public.

3. I contributed to the last guy who tried
I think he got 35% of the vote, so it's not like Delay is completely untouchable - but I think your money might be used better elsewhere - this is where a national party can really help.

Delay could probably be caught snorting DDT and the locals would call it a "Bold New Initiative for the EPA"

4. Thank for your input, and
rest assured that I gave the same "piddly" amount the the national Democratic Party and my local one.

I don't think my small donation was spent poorly. I think is was spent proudly. I think that changing things at the roots is just as important as changing at the top.

Thanks again. We are are allowed our own opinions. That's what makes us proud liberals!
