Why invading Iraq was a HUGE mistake. |
|
Quite simply, the rest of the world will do what they damn well feel like doing after we are forced to "hand over power" to the Iraqis, we will not have found either Osama or Saddam and terrorism will only increase. As for the US...we're through booking. We will no longer be considered a respected player on the world scene. We will have militarily spent our way into self-destruction and the embyonic factions that were incubated during the Clinton smear camaping will be full grown causing an internal destruction that we will never overcome. In short, Iraq is not only our "Waterloo" our "Afghanistan" our "Rubicon"...it is the end of the America as we knew it. This is the stuff that revolutions are made of. Just watch!

I thought Vietnam was our Soviet Afghanistan. Our Aghanistan cannot be our Iraq. And i thought the Rubicon was a line the army couldnt pass in Rome. Im so confused by the similes.

I just said the word "revolution" to my daughter today. As in, revolution is coming. That was after I read an article about the "historical" governor's race in Louisiana. Why do I constantly feel that we are being duped way too much by the Republicans?

3. I can't imagine them admitting it |
|
they will lose their whole entire freeper base - them thar freepers really love war and they think the US should push its shit all over the place - whereever we want - whenever we want. I don't see it causing a revolution though - just pissing off their base.
