5. Oh, so THAT'S why Frist reset the results.
I took the poll earlier and it was 60% against with 6000 votes or more. I looked again 1/2 hour ago, and there were only 800 votes or so, 90% against. That was REALLY funny.

6. What the hell is his current poll trying to say?
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 08:22 PM by Greyskye
The text of the current poll is:
Should the Senate from exercise its Constitutional duty to provide the President's judicial nominees with an up or down vote?

:wtf: does that mean?

On edit - here is his url: http://www.senate.gov/~frist/

Edit #2: They've just changed the text again. Here's the latest:
Should the Senate exercise its Constitutional duty to provide the President's judicial nominees with an up or down vote?

OK, now that actually parses...
Latest results:
Yes 57%
No 43%

11452 Total Votes

I guess they'll just keep reseting the polls until they get the data they want...

16. The Nos are up 52%-48%
Let's get back in there! It now says:

"Should the Senate minority block the body's Constitutional duty to provide the President's judicial nominees with an up or down vote?"

The answer is Yes, the Senate minority should block.

8. They changed the poll again!
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 10:52 PM by mbali
This time, they flipped the question so that NO is the answer they want!

Typical Republican - they can't win fair and square, so they change the rules.

New Question: Should the Senate minority block the body's Constitutional duty to provide the President's judicial nominees with an up or down vote?

9. Every time the poll changes
EVERYONE AT DU ought to be informed. "No" is winning on the revised question; let's make sure everyone answers "Yes" on this new "Poll of the Day."

12. Is Frist screwing with the poll results?
I keep refreshing and see that more and more people are voting. Sometimes the total voters # leaps by over 100 votes. Yet the percentages stay at 35% Yes and 65% No. Have they set his results ahead of time?

17. They changed the whole question now
Still same topic, but now it there's no correct answer.

Today's Question:
Which highly qualified nominees to the federal bench are being filibustered by Senate Democrats?
Janice Rogers Brown
Carolyn Kuhl
Priscilla Owen
All of the above

What a bunch of pricks in Frist's office! I mean that in a bad way! LOL!
