Clarks plan to get bin Ladin - inspired!

I love this. It's brilliant. Why hasn't Bush come up with this one? The Saudis are our friends, right? They are for us, not against us. Or so they say...

This is Clark calling them out. It's perfect. If the Saudis waffle, then I guess they aren't the friends we all thought they were (LOL)and dear Bushie will have to explain it all away.

Why hasn't Bush come out and asked the Saudis to track down Osama? Why indeed.

<<With Saudi help, we may finally get Pakistani authorities and Islamic leaders in the territories where bin Laden is believed to be hiding, to cooperate, and be part of the solution to this menace. Because of the religious ties between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the tribes on the Afghan-Pakistani border, the Saudis might be able to bring to bear a new capability. At the minimum we should try. This is not without precedent; the Saudis provided substantial forces to the coalition that ejected Saddam Hussein from Kuwait more than decade ago. >>

2. I hope he has...
any plane he plans to fly on thoroughly checked. I really mean it. The Bush crime family does not want bin Laden captured.

3. Nice idea, but...
I'd be damn surprised if this message hasn't already been delivered to the Saudis. It's all pretty good for them to just sit cool and play both sides in this game. I think right now the reason this message isn't working with them has to do with the current messenger in chief. They know at the end of the day that Bush ain't gonna give them grief.

They almost certainly regard us as their barbarian attack dogs, wiping out bin Ladin and his buddies' threat to them (al-Qaeda really wants to topple the Kingdom more than anything else) so that they can go back to making their oil trillions. The way we're gonna get bin Ladin involves old fashioned detective work... throw out spies, bribes, and agents to look for the big rat while using all our intel hardware to figure out where he might be.

Unambiguously supporting the people who are doing this work would be a nice idea too. But that will require a new president.

5. When the message is delivered by
a moron who talks out of both sides of his mouth ( You're either for us or against us - except you Saudi Arabia wink wink, nudge nudge...)

Certainly the Saudis have people who know more about what bin Ladin is up to than they're letting on. But catching bin Ladin would remove Bush's biggest boogieman. I doubt he wants that to happen.

4. Not "brilliant" at all. Clark approves of all Bush's wars. He'd
simply go about them a bit differently. Same goals exactly -- but with a more "multilateral" approach. He's 100% behind a many-year "War on Terrorism." I didn't realize he was this crazy.

12. I had worried that Clark would be the "kinder, gentler" face
to sell the multi-generational bogus war on terra. I'd largely laid that worry aside. This tells me I was right first time.

8. No.......... Clark's calling them on their traitorous bullshit
No less than James Baker is representing Saudi Arabia against our 9-11 families in the court of law. If Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are our friends then they should have no problem helping us find Osama Bin Laden. if not? Then it's a litmus test for both the Bush misadministration and the Saudi royal family.

13. This Does Put the Spotlight Where Bush Doesn't Want It: The Saudis
Give Clark some credit here, folks. He knows how to push the Bush Family's buttons.

There's no way in hell that the Saudis would ever participate in a joint U.S./Saudi hunt for Osama.

Clark obviously knows a lot more about Bush and the Saudis then he is letting on here.

I don't know where Clark is going with this, but I think I'll have some popcorn ready to watch as I think this is going to be good.
