5. The talking points they passed around...
...instructed them to say that there's never been a successful filibuster of a judicial nominee until now. (Republicans tried it a handful of times with Clinton's noms and failed.)

Chuck Schumer called them on the half-truth, so now they've dropped the word "successful" altogether.

I live in PA, too. I couldn't believe it. Santorum was up there with his charts saying I guess the Democrats don't want the economy growing, they don't like new jobs, etc. What a freaking liar. Then he tried to get an up or down vote on a nomination with 20 hours of debate. Objection heard. Then he tried to get an up or down vote with 30 hours of debate. Objection heard. Nope. The Dems aren't sleeping.
