Please write Michael Sneed ([e-mail]) at the Chicago Sun-Times to remind her how Scotland Yard and the British press is reacting to *'s upcoming visit. She is under the impression that this will be a positive PR event for ole whistle ass. Please be respectful, also be mindful that despite the name Michael Sneed is a woman. If she gets 20 plus e-mails she might have to take notice. Keep this kicked and pass it on.

President Bush heads to England Monday and has given the green light to a state visit, which is usually eschewed by American presidents.

*Word is Dubya wants all the positive PR he can muster ... and hopes it filters off on his good buddy, Brit Prime Minister Tony Blair.

*The big question: If first lady Laura Bush goes, will she curtsy if introduced to Queen Elizabeth? I think not.

have you seen ANY of the coverage from England regarding this visit?

most ceremonial plans were cancelled because Bush would have faced far more protestors than supporters on the parade route.

he has asked that much of central london be shut down so that he won't have to see the massive anti-Bush protests planned for this visit.

members of Parliment plan to turn their backs on Bush when he enters the chambers.

if the visit is covered objectively in the press, it will be a PR disaster.

no american president has ever been as globally hated as the current pResident.

and the British protestors will not be shoved into so-called "Free Amendment Zones"

A million people marched in London against the war back in February. Surely you don't think events since then have changed their minds? And the mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, wants nothing at all to do with this visit. It should be fascinating to watch, but not for the reasons you think.
