Bush is doing his level best to divide this country.... |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-13-03 02:38 PM by kentuck
He even came out this AM to make his point about the 30hour debate on his right-wing judges. This fellow has been one disappointing leader. It's funny (not ha-ha) that everything he says he is for, he does the exact opposite. This is great for confusing your opponents but it really sucks if it's the way you try to lead the nation. For example, he said he was a "uniter, not a divider". Can you think of one thing that he has united this nation on? Everything he does- everything he says - is for political advantage and the grab for more power. He is the worst leader of my lifetime for this nation but he is great for his partisan supporters. And that's really all he cares about. It's too bad we cannot impeach this sorry excuse for a leader.
edited for punctuation..

He's managed to unite the entire WORLD against us. He's the worst failure as pRESIDENT in American history. A pathetic, evil little empty suit with all the money he can handle to pay his way in or out of anything. :puke:

I am too young to remember much of Vietnam, but I know that the nation was horribly divided over the war, and later over Watergate. But even during the worst part of the Raygun years, I never imagined we'd ever be so divided - or that we'd be led by such a fear-mongering fascist.

8. And his duty was to unite this nation after the election 2000... |
|
The nation was bitterly divided after that debacle and any leader worth his salt would have used his position in the WH to try and unite the people. Screw that! Not Dubya! He wanted to stick firecrackers in frogs' butts and smirk and laugh at the expense of others. He is not deserving of any respect.

6. When you mentioned "Everything he says," I'm reminded of |
|
Molly Ivins' great quote which I can't remember verbatim and Google isn't helping.
"Pay NO attention to what he says; but watch what he does."
His actions do speak louder than words and they're universally reprehensible.

7. The Best Thing Our Candidates Could Do |
|
is use Bush's actual campaign taglines against him...and adopt them as their own:
I will restore honor and integrity to the White House I am a uniter, not a divider We should not engage in "nation building" "compassion" 4-point plan to reduce pollution
just off the top of my head
well, who wouldn't vote for those things? trouble is, you can't just say 'em, you've gotta deliver. Il Dunce needs to be called out, but those promises could and should be seen through by a Democrat.

The Republican controlled Congress enables him. It is not only important to vote him out of office, but vote out his enablers in the House and Senate.
