Has this question about WMDs been asked and answered? |
|
Has the White House ever been asked to respond to this question:
If you attacked Iraq without knowing where the WMDs were, how do you know that a desperate Saddam didn't hand them over to Al Qaeda and other enemies?
It seems to me that either Saddam didn't have weapons and the war was unjustified, or he did have weapons, and the war resulted in us losing all track of the weapons. Has the White House ever been asked about this? Do they have an answer?

1. They said they knew where the weapons were before shocknawe |
|
AND they say they didn't know after shocknawe....(they blame the UN Inspectors?)
they change their story so many times, the only thing you can really nail 'em with is the fact that they change their story so many times.

2. OF COURSE they have an answer! Several, in fact: |
|
- Saddam gassed his own people
- he was a brutal regime
- the world is better off now (except the 20k dead Iraqis)
- we can't risk another 9/11
- did I mentioned he gassed some people?

3. It Shows The Hypocrisy |
|
If The Reason We Went Into Iraq Was Indeed For Weapons Of Mass Destruction And We Didn't Find Any, Then We Must Wonder Why The Terror Level Isn't RED And We Are All In Lockdown! I Mean, Hey! They ARE/WERE There, Now They Are Missing! If You BeLIEved 'Em Back Then, You Should Be Terrafied!

and I've heard various people in the administration make this very claim. There were various reports in less-then-reliable resources such as DEBKA, that said Saddam transferred them over to Syria. The Kay report brought up more questions than answers, and our "intelligence" services really dont' have a clue (and haven't had a clue for a long, long time.)

furthermore, it still seems plain to me that the bush gang, by sending US troops to Iraq area without a UN declaration of some kind, was, when the UN refused to go along with blairbush, actually intentionally BLACKMAILING the American people into supporting the 'fait accomplis' and this seems wrong on so many levels....
