Two things - just saw on Fox News Channel.
1 - The Bush administration is actually going to try and hand off control of Iraq to the natives soon. They were all pitching it - Powell, Rice, Bush himself. A disaster in the making - but I guess they saw enough blood last week.
2 - They said that Saddam planned for this prolonged low-intensity war by laying munitions all over Iraq. An American General got on and tried to yell that assertion down (at a press conference) - but didn't exactly address the issues (if you know what I mean). It looks like Saddam has just changed his center of Command to posts in the Sunni Triangle, and is directing op's from there.

staying in the sunni triangle would be far too dangerous. He saw what happened to his sons when they got careless.
He's somewhere in Syria, relaying messages back.

Because I know it's all bad. But at least now the troops get to come home and talk about the shitty equipment they were given to work with.
