It started right after 9/11 (much like the rest of this fascist BS). Suddenly, to oppose the president on any issue was anti-American. For some reason, congress was just supposed to be a blank check and rubber stamp for Bush. He actually has given speeches where he blasts congress for not rolling over to his twisted desires. This is shameful, and it is a dangerous mentality that seems to be continually spreading.

I heard one Repug Senator saying that the Democratic filibuster was illegal and unconstitutional. Say what? How about the times the GOP blocked Clinton's appointments? I really think that a facist dictatoral mentality has taken over that party. One very good reason to make sure we have a Democratic President AND Congress next year!

that no president has had more of his judges appointed than george. all they can see is that 4 of the most objectionable candidates are being stymied -- but so much for the idea of compromise on the part of repukes.
