Family tiff between the Bush brothers? Jebby is annoyed
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/auto/epaper/editions/friday/news_f34bf5a4f20652c500a7.html

But sources who have spoken to Bush say he is indeed annoyed, with one of his top advisers using a much stronger description to describe Bush's mood. And Bush clearly went out of his way to "push back" at any White House attempt to get involved in the election.

"There is a bit of a rift developing" between the White House and Tallahassee, said one of Bush's top political advisers. "If the White House was expecting to come into Florida and take over the primary, they were wrong."

3. So many cold blooded dishonest people
Let the bloodletting begin! The funny thing is they won't know how to rig the electronic vote.

4. The Rethugs.........
Edited on Fri Nov-14-03 07:35 AM by DumpGump
are going to be in for the fight of their lives in Florida in 2004. I've never seen so much Demactivism anywhere I've lived. We're pissed off down here, and Bush is going to have to fight tooth and nail to rob this state again.
The rethugs are being watched under a microscope this time, any dirty tricks are not going to go unnoticed.
They've got a fight on their hands in 2004, and this time, it's personal.

5. A serious handful of right wing twits
McCollum - Clinton Impeachment Manager, Term limits repug, part of the Raygun revolution. Iran-contra accessory.

Webster - "God Squad" wing-nut.

Todd-Sheen - Katherine Harris wanabe.

Martinez - probably the most moderate of the bunch. Pro-corporate right winger for sure, but actually worked effectively on affordable housing, control of development, and public infrastructure issues like schools.

I will vote for the dem and hope for the best, but at least Martinez would be a survivable outcome.
