Shuster (R-PA) aide spies on opponent

Here's a story that's happening around my locale...Congressman Billy Shuster(R-PA)...(the selected son of former/retired Rep. Bud Shuster)...is in a pickle. Seems one of his aides was spying on a potential Republican challenger...on the clock! Locally, this is pretty big news...a lot of local republicans are not happy with Billy, or the Republican party. One fellow said..."I almost tore up my card..."

On a side note...I went to college with a fellow who grew up with the Shusters in Evert, PA. Billy Shuster has been protected by the Pennsylvania State Police since he was a teenager. My friend told me they used to get in all kinds of trouble...but he was never worried because he was hangin with Billy S...who's Dad was a congresman(Bud Shuster)...When pulled over drunk driving...The state police would either let them go, or just give them a ride home. Billy S. has led a life without consequence.

1. Sounds like Billy's taking after Bud

It's really amazing that Billy Shuster was able to get elected there. I'm from the Harrisburg area, and I remember driving the Turnpike and seeing the Bud Shuster highway and just shaking my head. Did the voters out there really not know what a slimeball Bud was? Or was it typical central PA voting - I done heard ahim, so umma vote fer im.

2. The Shusters are nothing more than crooks

Bud was investigated by 60 minutes for his close relationship with Lobbyists and how he basically was one of the worst pork kings in congress. (Ironically Bud retired). The asswipe used our tax dollars to build an airport in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania. (Believe me, I know it was the middle of nowhere because he represented a small section of my home county - but not the part where I lived).

Asswhipe - I hope this gets the last of the Shusters out of office.
