Officials: CentCom Head To Move Back to Qatar

U.S. defense officials say the head of the U.S. military's Central Command headquarters plans to re-establish Qatar as his base of operations to allow him to be closer to the action in Iraq.
They say General John Abizaid and his aides plan to travel there next week.

On Thursday, General Abizaid said he is sure coalition troops in Iraq will defeat insurgents trying to break the American will to stay in the country. He said the major security threat in Iraq comes from some five-thousand Baath party members and loyalists to former ruler Saddam Hussein.

Meanwhile, President Bush says he wants Iraqis to take more responsibility for governing their country. He says he is sending his top civil administrator in Iraq, Paul Bremer, back to the country to work with the U.S.-appointed Iraqi Governing Council on a strategy to speed up the transfer of power. British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw visited the White House Thursday for talks with Vice President Dick Cheney on Iraq. He said the United States and Britain recognize the need to improve the security situation there in the face of mounting violence.

2. What is the real meaning of this? Not even Low Intensity Combat?
Is this just real combat? If they don't want to be "liberated" we will kill them?
