MSNBC shows homecoming of fallen Italians
The hypocrisy: MSNBC shows live coverage of the return of the bodies of the 18 fallen Italians but no coverage of our soldiers!

1. You're so right!
Notice how the "reporter" was speaking for the majority of Italians talking about how they now want to stay in Iraq, even though the majority was opposed to the invasion?

Of course he had no interviews of real Italians to back up the B.S. he was stammering out.

3. I did a double-take when he said that
because it runs contrary to everything I've heard, too. I've heard Berlusconi's govt is in trouble over this (no wonder they're putting on a big show, having a national day of mourning).

7. Bush/media always lies about our international "support"
Like all that "Coalition of the Willing" crap- if they are so "willing" then perhaps they could send us their share of that $87 Billion Bush wants, and lets get more of THEIR troops too...

Remember when Bush/media tld us that the UN was "irrelevent" and that the "Coalition of the Willing" would take it s place?...

4. yes, this works against BushCo
It is because of Bush's clampdown on media coverage of returning coffins that there is nothing on American soldiers. He has extended and toughened a ban on it. The people should be angry and demand that the same recognition and respect be given their own dead. I wonder if the American public feels any way about the contrast between the attention being given the return of the bodies of the Italians while our own more than 400 dead have been snuck in through the back door in the dead of night.

5. They can go half way around the world to show dead Italians returning..
But they cannot show dead Americans returning at Dover ??? Surely they know that we know?

6. Farkin Unbelievable!
The Italian dead get a hero's coverage by our media, while the US dead are slipped into the country under the cover of night, and away from any media coverage so that the Boy King's poll numbers won't suffer?!!!!!

Is there no end to the outrageous antics of this misadminstration?!!!!

9. The Italian Government and Media Are Honoring the Fallen
What a goddamned shame the Italians have made of the Bush Cabal and the entire U.S. media.

IF the shameless, spineless U.S. press REALLY wanted to cover the American dead as they return through Dover, they would MAKE a big stink about it...

But Lacie/Stacy Petersen is far more important.

And these motherfuckers dare say that the Left is unpatriotic?
