the official Jefferson-Jackson Dinner prediction thread |
|
Edited on Sat Nov-15-03 05:53 PM by pruner
will Hillary announce her candidacy?
will Kerry launch a "nuclear" assault on Dean?
will there be a choice of entrees? if so, what will the choice be between?
what are your thoughts on these and other potential issues related to the dinner?

1. It's going to be interesting with 3 candidates missing it |
|
Sharpton, Clark and Lieberman won't be there, so I have to wonder how that will change things.

White House now because there's an amazing amount of Republican hatred for Hillary that will just get their base to get out and vote against Hillary. Like it or not, Republicans do better at voter turn-out and we really need to change that when and if Dean wins the nomination.

and would be seen as being an insult to the whole field if she entered tonight. I really don't think it's going to happen. Nope. Not at all.

She'd be your cream date, wouldn't she?
The reight-wing's insistance that Hillary is lying in wait is just such a great sign for the dems. It means they don't have a clue what we are really up to. Can you say, "BLINDSIDED?" I thought you could.

8. I watched an interview this morning on CNN or MSNBC |
|
They were interviewing a guy from the Iowa Dem Party, and trying very hard to bait him with Hillary '04 crap. "Do you think the candidates are upset because Hillary is stealing their thunder?" (No) "Do you think that Hillary will announce her intentions to run?" (No, No, No) "Do you think that people attending would be more excited if Hillary were here?" (No, No, No, No!). They finally quit it and asked him something more postive, but it was pretty funny.
Meanwhile there was a SEA of Dean signs in the background. A few Kerry signs but the Dean sign people seem to have it covered.
