A Big American Thank You to the Brits!
Edited on Tue Nov-18-03 10:18 AM by heidiho
I am thrilled by the length and depth that the British public is going to go to protest the arrival and stay of our unelected and despised leader.
Their mobilization efforts for this trip are unsurpassed - the planning and hours of labor that they are putting in to make their point should make us feel ashamed - we have had nothing on this scale to protest Bush's illegal policies in this country.
I cannot wait to see the protests and I only hope and pray that the rest of America and the world sees them as well.

I also can't help but think (after watching lots of JFK video this week) how nice it was when an American president was sincerely welcomed and loved overseas. When Clinton traveled, he received cheers and adulation as well.

What a contrast to this horrendous representative of our poor misguided country.

3. My parents live about 25 miles outside of London..
and whilst being politically aware they generally do not take action. Not this time though. They are going up to London to join the protests and to voice their displeasure at the unelected thief and his Ho Tony.

This is an unprecedented action on my folks part and speaks volumes about the disdain and loathing Smirky McFlightsuit illicits from people around the globe.....

4. Good on your parents for joining the protests in London!

Please tell us about their view of how it all goes. I don't expect we'll get accurate reporting from U.S. media.

6. I likewise thank my British
cousins. What is so totally amazing about all this is the way Bush himself the other day said it would be good to visit a country with freedom of speech where people can protest if they like. He clearly understands that's not the case here.

9. And as Jon Stewert says "These are our allies"
These are the guys that like us. Almost the only ones and they protest en masse.
